Determining Water Heater Age

1. Locate the manufacturers label with the serial number on the side of the unit. This is usually around any warning labels and the energy guide.
2. Check to see if installation date is indicated on the sticker.
3. Each manufacture uses different codes to determine the age of the tank. Please scroll to the appropriate tank name and de-code the serial number if the installation date is not indicated on the tank label.
